About

Kallie Robertson came to the field of Landscape Design after working in Furniture Design and Agriculture for 15 years.  After receiving her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Kallie worked in garden and farm education in NYC, including at the New York Botanical Gardens, before moving to the Hudson Valley in 2012.  Since, Kallie has been running Sawkill Farm, a diversified pasture based livestock and added value operation, with her husband and their two small children in tow.  All the while she has been expanding her knowledge and experience in landscape design and horticulture by working towards a professional certificate in Landscape Design from the world renowned New York Botanical Gardens, working with local landscape designers, teaching and obsessively gardening around her own home.

Kallie will work with you to design a garden environment that responds to your needs and the surrounding native environment.  With a keen eye for structure, color and sustainability we will overlay your needs and aesthetics with the native landscape to create an integrated and functional outdoor space that enhances your relationship to place.
